District- Mohali, the emerging IT hub of India
Mohali district falls in the Malwa region of Punjab. Mohali district of Punjab is emerging as an IT hub in North India. There are many international-level companies in the Mohali district which are helping to make Mohali an emerging IT hub in India. Mohali district (three tehsils of Mohali, Dera Bassi, and Kharar) was the first part of Ropar (new name Rupnagar) and Patiala district, which was later recognized by the Punjab government as the 18th district.
